Dr. Vogel practices General Orthopaedic Surgery with a Subspecialty in Hand/Microsurgery. Dr. Vogel is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has been in private practice since 2001. He received his Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree in 1995 from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. His postgraduate medical school training included an internship in Detroit, Michigan, a four year Orthopaedic Residency at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences-Tulsa, and one year of Fellowship Training in Hand/Microsurgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center/Baptist Medical Center. He was a Clinical Professor of Orthopaedics for three years at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences Center-Tulsa when he started private practice. Dr. Vogel has also been published in the prestigious “The Leading Physicians of the World”: North America 2001-2012.
Dr. Vogel resides in Norman with his wife, three daughters, and son. He attended the University of Central Oklahoma on a wrestling scholarship and enjoys many different sporting activities. Dr. Vogel serves the community through education programs, addressing injuries at home and in the work place. He obtains his continuing medical education at National Lectures and through the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where he is a Clinical Professor helping educate medical students, interns, and residents.
