Celebrate 50+ Years With Us
In 2022, Oklahoma Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center celebrated our 50th anniversary. The timeline below highlights some the milestones and accomplishments that got us here.

1963
Dr. Waltner was working the night shift in medical school at Parkland Hospital in Dallas on Thursday, November 21, 1963, when Parkland Hospital was transformed into the focus of the country and the world as doctors pronounced John F. Kennedy dead while others worked to save the life of Texas Governor John Connally.
May 1991
Jeffrey Waltner MD-Served 2 years in Air Force as a physician at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska
Jack Beller MD- Served 2 years active duty for US Air Force and is a former Major in the United States Air Force
May 1991-Robert M Lambert MD and Richard M Harkness were in active military duty and served in Operation Desert Storm
1992
Fun day marks the end of school and beginning of summer. It included clowns, magic shows, juggling, balloon art, mini footballs, balloons. Pony rides, petting zoo, moon walk, kiddie rides, dunk tank, educational exhibits, Norman Police & Fire, American Red Cross, storyteller from Norman Public Library, ice cream, fruit drinks, Gilt Edge Farms provided treats
